Eno Peci, the Albanian known worldwide as the first classical dancer of the Vienna Opera, has put his first play on the scene, for the Albanian public, at the University of Arts theatre.

The artist performed himself in his newest creation, called “Déjà vu”, together with dancers of the National Theater of Opera and Dance.

Peci’s modern ballet received long applauds from the Albanian public, which was attracted by plasticity, by the elegant moves and the choreographic concept that was put on the scene with a minimalistic set design.

The first part had the dancers of the National Opera Theater performing “Exil”, a play inspired by the events of 1997 and the exodus of that time, which have personally affected the dancer himself.

Invited by the National Theater of Opera and Dance, Peci shared his life story with the Albanian public, a story that still affects the public even after 20 years.
