This is 36-year-old Elona Kalesha, born in Durrës, who was detained by Italian police today, accused of being the perpetrator of the murder of Teuta and Shpëtim Pashos from Vlora, who have been missing since 2015.

A few days ago, the horrific discovery took place in Italy, when the dismembered bodies of the Albanian couple, were found inside four suitcases. Since finding the massacred bodies of Shpetim and Teuta Pashos from Vlora, the Italian Prosecution has been intensively investigating, taking a lot of evidence.

In just a few days of investigation, the circle of suspects has narrowed and so far, the only suspect is Elona Kalesha, the ex-girlfriend of the couple’s son, Taulant.

The latter is imprisoned for narcotics crimes in Switzerland.

According to the arrest warrant signed by prosecutor Ornella Galeotti, the 35-year-old Albanian woman arrested in Florence is accused of killing, hiding and dismembering the bodies of two Albanians.

When Shpëtim and Teuta Pasho disappeared in November 2015, at the ages of 54 and 52, Elona was the partner of Taulant Pasho, the couple’s son.

It is suspected that Shpëtim Pasho was stabbed to death while he was asleep, so there are no other signs of violence on his body. While Teuta Pasho was beaten to death, evidence of which are the woman’s hematomas and broken bones.

This is shown by the fact that at the time of the murder, the couple was wearing pajamas. After the murder, their bodies are learned to have been cut with a chainsaw and wrapped in various materials.

The remains of the two victims, experts point out, may have been kept in the refrigerator for some time.
