Part of the opposition’s protest was Dashamir Aliko, the head of the
Lazarat commune, which has been considered as the epicenter of the
marijuana production.
Alika stayed for some minutes with the protesters and a group of Lazarat residents, while Lazarat was being mentioned in the Parliament’s debate.
Aliko stayed for more than 40 minutes in one of the bars, from where he followed the protest.
He was heard giving an interview, saying that the cannabis in Lazarat is planted for survival.
This is his declaration for Top Channel.
“I am a head of commune as all other head of communes in Albania. I was part of the protest today because it was organized by my party. I am the vice chairman of the party for the gjirokaster district, and member of the National Democratic Party Council. All I can say is that I am against anything illegal”, Aliko declared, referring to the declaration of Minister Tahiri for rseizing the property titles of those who plant marijuana.
