Besides the improved infrastructure, Tirana’s main park, the Artificial Lake, is having more green spaces added each day.
Albania’s Evangelist Fraternity joined the initiative of the municipality and planted new trees for Easter.
“The list of people who want to donate keeps growing. We are giving an opportunity to everyone to repay the generosity they showed for the city. Today the Artificial Lake Park has doubled the number of running lanes, while there is a completely new bicycle lane. Roads that were being used by cars are now being closed. Cars will have a new bypass. With the last installment of lamps and with more planted trees, we have increased the space of the Lake”, Veliaj declared.
A group of sportsmen also joined the initiative and planted more trees.
