EUROPOL valued our cooperation, says Albanian Chief of Police

The General Chief of Police, Haki Cako, revealed in a phone conversation with Top Channel the details of his meeting with Director Rob Wainwright.

“After some joint operations, with the Albanian police being active with its entire capacity, even for exchanging information, we have received maximal evaluation by the EUROPOL director. The main meeting was with Rob Wainwright, who spoke about our excellent relations”, Cako said.

When asked about cannabis and the President’s warning for summoning the National Council of Security, the Chief of Police said:

“I don’t do politics. Our partners gave their opinion, even Commissioner Avramopulos, who was very clear. Politicians will do what they have to do, but police will always be fighting against any traffic or organized crime”, Cako said.
