Struan Stevenson, the European politician, MP of the European Parliament for the past 15 years, says that Iran has not been hiding their irritation for the lost chance to slaughter the thousands of Iranian opposition members who were transferred from Iraq to Albania.
According to the European MP, this transfer was result of a great campaign carried out by the Iranian opposition members and their supporters in Europe and the USA, while the Mullahs in Teheran had done everything possible to stop it.
Officials in Teheran have admitted that transfer of the Iranian opposition has played a key role in the protests that have spread recently across the country.
According to AFP, on January 2nd of this year, President Hassan Rouhani called the French President and asked him to take immediate action against the Iranian opposition in Paris and their leader, Maryam Rajavi.
The French President refused this request.
Stevenson, quoted by EuReporter, claims that the appointing of Gholam Hossein Mohammad Nia and Mostafa Roodaki, two high-level officials of the Iranian Intelligence Ministry, respectively as Ambassador and Chief Secretary of the Embassy in Tirana, shows the malign purposes of the Mullahs.
Certainly, their role is to create religious and cultural institutions which are in fact covers of their activities in Albania, who operate under the names “The Habilian Center” and “The Didban Institution”, he adds.
“On March 22nd, the Albanian media wrote that two Iranians were arrested, suspected of preparing terror acts. 10 others were arrested for being questioned, adding that MEK was a possible objective”, the article says.
