EULEX forensic science experts have scrutinized an area in Medvegja, Southern Serbia, where they suspect the presence of a massive grave.

The news came from the EU mission, through a press release which
expresses the suspicions that in this grave there are the bodies of Kosovo Albanians
killed during the war 1998-1999.

“Secure information accepted by
the Commission for the Missing Persons indicate that an unknown number
of Albanians might be buried here”, the communication says.

Meanwhile,
Alan Robinson, leader of the forensic science department in the EULEX
mission declared that a wide team of experts are reviewing the area.

“Their role is very clear. They must act as observers and apply the necessary methodology in terrain”, Robinson declared.
