After Gruevski failed to forma a government with the Albanian party in Macedonia, BDI, (Democratic
Union for Integration) EU asked
President Ivanov to consult with political leaders and help form
a wide based government , according to the state
agency MIA.
The Macedonian conservatory VMRO-DPMNE announced this Monday that they failed to reach an agreement with the Albanian parties, and they appealed that the best solution would be having new elections.
However, President Ivanov may now appoint Zoran Zaev, leader of the LSDM, to form a government coalition.
None of the main Macedonian parties had enough Parliamentary seats to form a government without the smaller ones, including the Albanian parties.
