The German Bundestag delegate Roderich Kiesewetter visited Tirana earlier this day, meeting the Albanian Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, and the Integration Parliamentary Commission Chief, Ermelinda Meksi.
While meeting the Albanian Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli, Keiswetter declared that Germany gives full support to Albania’s integration efforts.
“This achievement requires commitment from all sides, left and right political parties, and above all, needs civil involvement and the young people of this country.” Kieswetter declared.
According to the Albanian Parliament Press Office, the German deputy urged dialogue between government and opposition, and condemned the opposition parliamentary boycott.
Albanian Parliament Press Office also notes that the German deputy urged opposition moderated forces to find ways of cooperation with the government.
