Peter Stano, Spokesperson of the European Commission for Enlargement: We underline that we have worked for the Albanian justice system, and the latest progress report for Albania, let me quote it, says that we have noted a small progress in the ability to give strong evidence for performing proactive investigation, for processing and punishing corruption cases at all levels, which is a key priority for Albania. In this aspect, the Commission expects the Albanian system to act independently and in an impartial environment. This means that we expect the judicial system to demand the best expertise, if needed. We expect the Albanian judicial system to cooperate with the international partners and ask advises from foreign partners in an international level.
