EU awards Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare” for investigative journalism

The European Union, in cooperation with the Albanian Media Institution,
distributed for the third consequent year the Investigative Journalism
Awards.

The EU Award for Investigative Journalism went to Top Channel’s “Fiks Fare” and journalist Alisa Mysliu, for her report on food safety protocols.

The second and third awards went to journalists Artan Rama and Elvis Nabolli, who were chosen among 28 candidates.

The EU Delegation Chairman for Politics, Economy and Information, Jan Rudolph, congratulated journalists for their hard work in service of the truth.

“When we think about media freedom, we also think about the responsibility to report true facts”, Rudolph said.

The EU Awards for Investigative Journalism are held each year for all Western Balkan countries, to promote and support good investigative journalism.
