After the government of Kosovo declared they will take the Border Demarcation Agreement with Montenegro to the Coutr of Arbitration has not changed the opinion of the European Commission.
Officials of the European institution say that the border demarcation with Montenegro is a criterion for fulfilling the visa liberalization condition.
“The Commission expects the criteria for the visa liberalization, such as having sentences for high-level corruption cases and from organized crime, and the ratification of the border demarcation with Montenegro”, said Kasia Kolanko, official for information at the European Commission, when asked by “Koha Ditore” if the demarcation will remain a condition even after Kosovo decides together with Montenegro to take the case to the court of arbitration.
