The EU ambassador in Albania, Luigi Soreca, delivered a speech at the earthquake Reconstruction conference, demanding transparency and accountability in the use of finances.
“We are proud of the conference that was held in Brussels, it was not simple. This is a new opportunity for Albania. We will make sure that the whole process is transparent and accountable. For the first part of 15 million euros, we talked to the minister about how this money will be spent. We like Ahmetaj’s offer to participate in the transparency commission. Keep in mind that we work all the time. In three weeks there will be a big meeting in Brussels, where I will talk about this as well”, stated Soreca.
