EU, 61.2 million EUR for economic development in Albania

The EU Embassy in Tirana declared today that 61.2 million EUR were allocated to Albania for economic support and EU integration.

The fund comes as part of the 2017 Action Programme for Albania, countersigned by the Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati.

According to the EU embassy declaration on social networks, the fund will support tourism and startups; and it will also assist Albania’s institutions with the EU integration process through scholarships, training, legislation, and by offering support to CSOs, gender equality, freedom of expression and media pluralism.
