Albania has benefited 17.8 million EUR from the IPA funds of the European Union.
The agreement with the Albanian government was signed by the Minister of European Integration, Klajda Gjosha, while Yngve Ernstroem signed it for the EU.
“This fund will be used for justice, agriculture, public administration, employment and transportation”, Minister Gjosha declared.
The Head of Operations for the EU Delegation in Tirana, Ernstroem, declared that these funds will be managed for the first time by the Albanian government. In the past they were allocated by the EU delegation.
