Weightlifter Erkand Qerimaj and Top Channel’s moderator, Anjeza Maja, joined the initiative of the Tirana Municipality and planted 50 cypress trees at the Eastern Road Ring of Tirana.
“This is the biggest tree-planting championship ever held in Tirana. We are very close to the record of planting 100,000 trees by March 21st. Same as Erkand, who has broken several records, it is up to us to break this one too. We are working hard because we are very close”, Veliaj said.
“It was a great feeling planting this cypress tree today. These are the lungs of our city. We need to work hard every day so that we can have more oxygen”, Qerimaj said.
“People who like doing physical exercise have nature their best ally. It would be much better for us to exercise in nature, and this is why we are here today”, Anjeza Maja declared.
