Erdogan: If EU doesn’t keep its promise with Albania and Northern Macedonia, regional peace is at risk

It is often considered the Turkey would benefit the most if Albania and Northern Macedonia don’t have their EU accession negotiations opened this October.

But in Sarajevo, during the SEECP Summit, Erdogan warned that peace and stability in Balkan could be hurt if the EU doesn’t keep its promises for Tirana and Skopje.

Erdogan expressed his trust that the European leaders will be visionary and keep their promise for Balkan’s ideals to be integrated into the EU.
