The “Osmangaze” bridge, the third on Bosphorus, was inaugurated today in
Turkey by President Erdogan, PM Yildirim, all Turkish Deputy Prime
Ministers, and also the Albanian PM, Edi Rama, the only foreigner
present in the ceremony.
Rama visited Turkey for an official visit on the day when the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul was attacked by terrorists.
This Friday, President Erdogan drove his armored vehicle on the new bridge, with PM Rama as his passenger.
The investment for the Osmangaze bridge will connect Izmir with Istanbul, and cuts the drive with three hours.
