The European Parliament has voted in favor of Albania’s EU integration. The news was announced by the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group leader, Taulant Balla.
Balla said on Twitter that the report in question was drafted by European MP Knut Fleckenstein.
The European parliament has voted in favor of the recommendation for opening Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
Knut Fleckenstein also reacted on social media: “The vote on my report on Albania today was very clear. The ball is now indeed in the court of the Heads of State and Government”, Fleckenstein wrote.
