Monica Macovei, the Chairwoman of the European Parliament Delegation at the EU-Albania Parliamentary Commission for Stabilization and Association said that the opposition’s behavior is blocking the countries European future.
The deckaration says that Albania is progressing with quick steps towards the EU, especially as regards the Judiciary Reform.
“As Chair of the EP Delegation, I strongly believe that Albania is progressing towards the EU accession. I believe that the current government is on the right path for transforming the judiciary system nin the country. The judiciary reform as produced tangible results in the fight against corruption and organized crime”, Macovei declared.
According to her, the recent actions of the opposition could ruin the progress of the reforms, and are sending the right message to the European partners.
