The Minister of Environment, Lefter Koka, attended a visit in Labinot
Mal this Tuesday, as part of his agenda for fighting the pine tree
disease.

Koka met with the local authorities, with whom he discussed the issue, saying that this problem has been left aside for decades.

“We have a 2.3 million USD fund for resolving this issue that has not been fixed for the past 20 years, and that has affected 60.000 hectares of pine forests. 6000 people have been employed with a full contract for this problem”, Koka declared.
