After spending the end of the year holidays in their country, Albanian expats and migrants have started to return to Greece where they live and work, through the border crossing point of Kapshtica.
According to data from the border police for January 02, 2727 people entered Kapshtica and 6321 people left.
Despite the high number registered at the exit of Albania, the crossing situation has been normal and there have been no problems or delays for immigrants, while the flow is expected to increase in the coming days.
Authorities say that all necessary measures have been taken to cope with the influx and avoid delays.
