After massive traffic checks throughout the country reported by the police, 53 drivers were arrested, of which 35 for drunk driving and 18 for driving without a driving license, during the first 10 days of March.
Authorities said that 209 driving licenses had been suspended, of which 144 for speeding and 65 for driving under the influence of alcohol. 13,106 fines have also been imposed across the country.
