After the unblocking of border crossings towards Greece which for days had become a nightmare for Albanians living in the neighboring country, Prime Minister Rama reacted through a Facebook post where he called on all those leaving for Greece to obtain all necessary documentation.
“THANK YOU to all those who contributed to resolving the serious stalemate at the Kakavia border crossing; the citizens who in the vast majority had understanding and patience despite great misery; Civil Emergencies, army and police forces, Health Emergency Corps and local structures, which were located near the people with dedication and without schedule; all those in the neighboring country who were involved in trying to alleviate the situation.
“I wish from the bottom of my heart a speedy and normal resumption of daily life, to all fellow citizens and I ask others in the following, to carefully follow the criteria set in the neighboring state for crossing the border. Goodbye to the last travelers and protect yourself and others from the dangerous Covid19 virus”, writes Rama.
