In the conditions when our market is full of lawyers, sociologues and
doctors, Prime Minister Rama underlined once again the determination to
establish a professional education system that answers to the market
requests for professionals.
The Prime Minister was invited in the presentation ceremony of the National Strategy for Employment and Skills 2014-2020.
“Let’s increase employment by reviving the professional education and by orienting all our efforts to the professional education, and to the real needs of the work market in Albania. One of the most important things for this strategy is the connection of employment with professional education, something new for the developed world, and something new for Albania”, Rama declared.
“By connecting the professional education with employment we are creating the conditions for increasing the individual and social welfare”, Rama declared.
“This employment strategy that is being presented to day, should be seen carefully as a moment of reflection and for changing the economic governing course of this country. Concretely, with the presentation of the strategic project, it means that there are measures for building a professional education network, without forgetting and by focusing on the rural areas”, Rama declared.
Minister Erion Veliaj presented the main pillars of the new employment strategy.
“First, transformation of services and employment programs; second, increasing the quality of education and professional training; third, including the categories in need, those with disabilities and those who live in remote areas; fourth, establishing a functional system of work and qualifications. We want to work hard for increasing the image, and one of our most important objectives is orienting secondary schools to professional education, in order to notice the best ones for those who are graduated from the professional education”, Veliaj declared.
Prime Minister Rama underlined that another challenge of the government is harmonizing the work legislation with the business legislation, and the financial policies with those of employment.
