The Director of Customs, Elisa Spiropali, resigned from her duty.
Through a detailed Facebook post she explains why she chose to do this.
“I just experienced the most important moment in the life of a woman, the birth of the first child. I want your understanding for interrupting my service as Head of the Albanian Customs”, she says.
Mrs.Spiropali thanks the colleagues of the Albanian Customs, the Minister of Finances and the Prime Minister for the help she has received while exercising her duty.
