Planted drugs in the Kruje mountains was not a surprise for the police.
The helicopters of the special forces had identified small parcels
planted in the middle of forests, far from residential areas.
In this difficult terrain, the police forces, divided in small groups, were able to control entire mountains in the villages of Cudhi Kamp, Bruz All, Shqeze and Marsheq. Same as in the forests
In these areas, someone plants a small cannabis parcel in the middle of the forest.
The elimination of these plants is done on the spot by burning, after a crime experts tries to find any traces for finding the author.
The Kruje Chief of Anti-Crime, Elton Zemani, says that the cultivation of cannabis in areas that are not owned by anyone is the most used method by authors.
“We have inspected some villages and we have eliminated more than 20 parcels with narcotics. We are continuing with the inspections. Now we have to inspect the Nikel commune villages”, he says.
The Kruje mountainous area entered the cannabis cultivation map five years earlier, but despite the awareness campaign and frequent operations, it seems that the authors find new methods for cultivating cannabis.
