The Albanian Post Office will enter the market of electronic payment
after a cooperation with USAID. Very soon, citizens will be able to
realize payments through the cell phone.
Every payment that is done through the post office, will be realized with a cell phone, even if it is not a smartphone. The service will be accessible to all citizens in the deepest areas, and aims to have 100% of the Albanian market. This service will start within a few months.
The conference for launching this interesting project for the Albanian citizens held today by USAID, in which were invited representatives of various banking and telecommunication companies, had the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Innovation and the Governor of the Bank of Albania.
