Te recent rain precipitations have improved the situation of the Energy Corporation at the Drin Cascade.
The Transmission System Operator has cancelled the import contracts from May 10th to 17th.
The energy sector had entered in a situation of paradox. On one side the Energy Distribution System was spending large amounts of money with import, and on the other hand, the Energy Corporation (KESH) was selling energy to private operators, with a low price.
Three days ago KESH announced another big auction for selling 39.000 MW of energy, due to the already signed contracts. This could cause citizens a loss of 1 million EUR. It was avoided in the last minutes.
