The Democratic Party demands their electoral reform platform to be
reviewed with urgency. They say that there are no guarantees for free
and fair elections on June 18th.
Oerd Bylykbashi declared for the media that nothing has been done so far for the electoral reform, while elections are very close.
“Nothing has been done for the electoral reform. The DP platform has requested a decriminalization of vote purchase. All measures should be taken to make this possible, and one of these measures is electronic voting. If the DP platform is not taken in consideration, there is no guarantee for free and fair elections in 2018”, Bylykbashi said.
