Chief Socialist Edi Rama, as every Monday continued the meetings with the electoral headquarters, while President Ilir Meta started his political week with a request addressed to the Prime Minister.
“He (Rama) better reflects and respect June 5th agreement or otherwise on April 25 there will be not only an ‘crazy’ President, but also three million ‘crazy’ Albanians who will kick him out with a vote and all legitimate means and his (Rama’s) dreams to buy and scare the Albanian people in favor of a handful of oligarchs and bandits “, said Meta.
At the end of the meeting with the electoral headquarters, Prime Minister Rama, when asked what was his position on this request coming from the presidency, stated:
“He better signs or return the amendments to the Electoral Code as soon as possible, so that the implementation can continue and we will vote them again. June 5 is respected and June 30 is respected. The President would do well to sign them as the time to be implemented is short, in case he returns it to the Assembly we will vote them again. I have no idea for any plan with 5 points “, said Rama, referring lastly to a plan proposed by the main opposition Lulzim Basha.
