The Coordinator of the Socialist Party for the Dibra District, Damian
Gjiknuri, demanded an investigation for the Xhelili video-scandal,
making it clear that the party should keep distance from this event.
“The individual should be kept separated by the Socialist Party, which won this Municipality due to the support of the Dibra people”, Gjiknuri said.
But the General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, says that this should serve Dibra citizens to reflect before they decide for their future orientation.
“The orientation of the Socialist Party was not the right one. Same as we, the Democratic Party, have understood the mistakes that we have made, the people of Dibra must have also understood that they need to return once again to Democracy and Progress”, Paloka said.
