Ballot counting in Dibra district ended tonight.
Although after the ruling Socialist Party briefly retained the lead in the district, the Democratic Party emerged victorious, eventually securing 27,944 votes, while the Socialist Party 27,605 votes, a narrow margin of only 339 votes.
The opposition Democratic Party has secured a third seat in Debar, against 2 of the ruling Socialist Party.
