Prosecutor Dritan Gina reacted immediately after he was removed as head of the Elbasan Prosecution.
Gina said that his replacement was arbitrary, encouraged by political circles. He declared that he will refuse to implement the order and will continue to exert his duty.
“My functions as Chief Prosecutor of Elbasan have terminated arbitrarily. This illegal movement was encouraged by some political circles. My duty can only be interrupted by the High Council of Prosecution, which has not been created”, Gina declared. I cannot abandon my duty based on an illegal order. I refuse to implement this order and I will continue to exert my duty”, Gina said.
