Eggs in Parliament, Ministers voted amid chaos

Today’s Parliamentary session showed hints of tension since when the
Guard of the Republic searched MPs and found eggs on them.

However,
by the end of the session one egg had been thrown against the PM, missed
and fell on the Minister of Parliament Relations, Ermonela Felaj.

A few second ago, PM Rama left the Parliament protected by an umbrella. The opposition MPs were protesting after the majority refused to include in the daily agenda their requests for legal amends that would suspend MP Armando Prenga.

“It is more honest to leave those posts to people like Armando Prenga, because this Parliament is criminalized”, Topalli said.

The Democratic Party MPs blocked the podium after Edi Paloka repeated the words of Lulzim Basha: “This is the last chance for this Parliament to function”, Paloka said.

The majority has not rejected the propositions, but they say the need to be reviewed based on a normal procedure.

The Socialists voted the presidential decrees for appointing the Ministers.

Armando Prenga also appeared to vote, maybe to not lose his mandate, although he had declared to abandon the Parliament.
