Education Ministry reacts after publishers’ accusations

The Ministry of Science and Education reacted after some publishers
accused them of buying state library books in a preferential way in
Librazhd, Lezhe and Mallakaster.
The press office of this Ministry declared that the Audit Directory will make the verifications in these towns.
“We are aware that the decentralized system of books selection has functioned, but there are problems and we will make the verifications. The Ministry of Science and Education remains committed to cooperate with the publishers”, declared spokesperson Brikena Kollcinaku.
The Ministry of Education admitted that there might be problems in the way these books are chosen, because the selection was left to the Education Directories in towns and to the teachers.
But according to some publishers, at least 80% of the books in these towns are published by authors that have important seats in the government structures.
