The recent Bank of Albania Survey, measuring the trust indicator in economy, says that the situation keeps deteriorating.
According to the Survey, the district indicator for April-June fell with 1.3 points, compared to the first three months of the year.
According to Bank of Albania, the trust decrease is softer than before, but it is still under the average level.
All sectors have a decreased trust indicator for the future in economy, not only from businesses but also from consumers. But the biggest decrease can be seen at the consumers, the services sector and industry.
The pessimistic business evaluation in the industry sector is related closely with the decrease of production in this sector and employment.
As for the service sector, the pessimism of businesses has deteriorated again, despite a better period in the beginning of the year.
According to the business, this pessimistic situation is related with the fallen consumer’s request, employment and investment.
The deterioration of the consumer’s trust during the second trimester, according to the Albanian Bank survey, was noted in all directions.
During this period, consumers have shown small tendencies for making big purchases, and have been pessimistic about the savings, due to the deterioration of their financial situation.
According to the survey, all of this was caused by an increase of the living cost and unemployment. However, the consumer is pessimistic for the future of economy.
