The Europena Bank for Development and Reconstruction says that 31% of
Albanians prefer an authoritarian governing system rather than
democracy.
The findings were made public on the “Life in Transition” observation that EBRD makes about economies under development.
The report says that the number of Albanians wanting an authoritarian government is three times higher than that in Western European countries. It’s even higher than the average of former communist countries, similar to Albania, which have an indicator to 28%.
