The Democratic Party MPs visited the Thumana residents who are being sheltered in the Shengjin hotels, paid by the government.

They say that they will reject the 3000 ALL of rent coverage that the government has supplied them, with which they cannot pay any home, and that they will start a hunger strike if they are moved out of the hotels.

“My home was demolished without having me notified first. I don’t have a single piece of document about it. What will happen to me? I want a lawyer. We need the government when we are facing problems. We were happy when they took us in hotels. If they want to take us out, it’s just as if they were throwing us at sea”, onw of the residents declared.
