After the visit of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, and the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, the residents of Vaqarr who lost their homes to the November 26th earthquake are seeing the construction works already starting for their new neighborhood.
A former Armed Forces property will turn into the new center of Vaqarr.
The families that will move there will have not only new homes, much better than the ones they had at the village but also the entire necessary infrastructure.
Mayor Veliaj inspected the works for the area where the new homes will be built, suggesting that the new neighborhood will be a model also as regards the services for its citizens.
