A 4.4 Richter magnitude earthquake was felt with its epicenter 5
kilometers in the southwest of Himara, at 17:55, according to the
Mediterranean Seismologic Center.
Same sources say that the epicenter was 2 two kilometers deep in the ground. The Himara residents and the visitors that have started the tourist season were in panic for a few seconds.
Fortunately, there was no damage in humans or property. Another 2.5 earthquake was registered 3 minutes later.
