€5.6 mln project to transform Fier’s city center

The Fier city center will be transformed thanks to a 5.6 million EUR project.

Excessive concrete constructions, illegal buildings and floods caused by the Gjanice River had been a problem for the Fier residents for years.

The construction started this November and is expected to be done by 2020, with an underground parking area and three bridges over the river.
