€288m exports in one month; Italy top of the countries accepting Albanian goods

Data published by Instat institute show that in January the value of Albanian goods exported abroad reached 35 billion or about 288.5 million euros.

Compared to last January, they have increased by more than 90.7 million euros. The biggest impact was given by the export of minerals and fuels with over 9.3 billion ALL, similar to year ago.

Exports to European Union countries have expanded this period, reaching ALL 26.5 billion.

Italy continues to dominate the list of partner countries to which the country exports more goods with 16.4 billion ALL, an increase of 4.4 billion ALL or over 36 million euros.

In addition, the value of exports to Kosovo and Germany has seen an increase, whereas exports to Spain have shrunk by almost 13 million euros less then last month.

Meanwhile imports have increased by about ALL 10 billion compared to the same period of 2021, reaching the level of ALL 55 billion.
