Although E.Coli bacterium has not officially touched other EU countries
except Hamburg in Germany, the fear affected markets beyond these
borders, even in Albania.
Specialists from the National Food Authority explain in their efforts to calm the consumers, that information coming from EU authorities say that this bacterium has not originated from cucumbers or other vegetables, and that the Albanian market has its own production.
Specialists ask cookers to be more careful with the kitchen hygiene, and that it is very important to wash the vegetables and the sink thoroughly, because these are places knownh to accumulate many bacteria.
On the other hand, experts ask consumers to be careful with meat and also with the ice that is offered in glasses of waters in bars.
