The three attacks with dynamite in the Albanian capital, targeting the
family members of the Interior Minister and a police officer, have made
try to find the origin of the explosive. They have been able to discover
that the dynamite is of domestic production.

Suspicions that the dynamite might originate from Kruja are even stronger after an event of November 2014, when the Prosecutio found out that 12.000 dynamite sticks were missing from the Noje village, Kruje. 2400 kilograms of dynamite in total, with a value mounting up to 200 million ALL.

For this reason was arrested Adem Hasani, responsible of the depots, who was accused of power abuse.

After this mysterious disappearance of dynamite from the army, a professional soldier was arrested in Kruja. Lulezim Mesi was found with 20 kg of dynamite, probably coming from the Noje village in Kruja. He admitted that he had sold dynamite, but these are not the only cases when officers of the Armed Forces are involved in the theft and sale of explosives.

On November 2014, the Prosecution of Tirana started investigating four persons, one Captain, one official at the Ministry of Defense, and a Vice Commander of the Ammunition Battallion. According to the Prosecution, they have stolen 97 kg that was used by the construction inspectorate for demolishing buildings. It had been sold at 2000 ALL per kg.

This dynamite seems to have fallen in the hands of dangerous criminal groups who have not hesitated to use it in shocking events.
