Durres protesters towards Tirana

Hundreds of citizens, Socialist Party members and opposition supporters
traveled from Durres, Shijak, Golem and other areas of the coastal city
to join protesters in front of the Central Election Commission Building.
At least 26 buses and dozens of private vehicles started from different Durres areas, while in the Tirana-Durres motorway police has established checkpoints.
Police narrowed the car movement on this side of the motorway and searched many small cars. The searches have been more detailed when they have suspected of gun or explosive possessions.
The Durres Police Department appealed citizens to distance themselves from illegal meetings, reminding that participators will be punished with fines and 3 years of imprisonment.
