An abandoned yacht was caught by the Albanian coastguards 29 miles from
the coast, in Durres. The yacht was sailing without anyone on board.
Some Italian tourists spotted the abandoned vessel and notified the authorities. The control center in Durres identified the location and towed it to the port.
The vessel had Montenegrin and American flags, and the police started the identification of the vessel that was sailing without anyone on board.
The vessel belonged to a Montenegrin citizen, and according to border police, it might have broken the ropes and the currents have pushed it to Durres.
