Durres: Illegal constructions raized

The Construction Inspectorate at the Municipality of Durres started
today the action for demolishing all illegal constructions recently
built.
In many areas of the city, people tried to build illegal constructions, profiting from the absence of many local and central institutions during the electoral process.
The inspectors verified dozens of cases and started demolishing the illegal buildings.
Korçe Municipality fined
The Municipality of Korçe was fined for removing the monument of the National Warrior.
The directory of Culture Monuments penalized the Municipality with 50.000 ALL for removing an object that belongs to this directory.
The monument of the National Warrior was placed inside the depots of the City, waiting the finishing of the Korce center master plan.
This action, not previously warned, has caused the Directory of Culture Monuments to react.
The monument that was created by Odise Paskali has been removed four times since 1932, when it was first placed in the center of the town.
