Durrës customs seize 1 million euro on Bari departed ferry

Albanian customs structures have seized a considerable amount of non-declared money on a passenger ferry entering the Durres port from the Italian city of Bari.

They were discovered inside a vehicle that came with the Bari ferry and sources suggest that the amount is about one million euros.

Following the finding by the Customs, the Police started further investigations.

Today’s amount is the largest seized since the similar episode in 2018, when in a Toyota Yaris were found and seized 3.4 million euros in the port of Durres.
