Durres Aqueduct sues 100 debtors

100 criminal reports were deposited at the Durres Prosecution by the
Aqueduct, which is cutting illegal connections along the Durres-Tirana
highway. They are also cutting water supply for debtors of the coastal
city.

The Aqueduct inspectors have cut almost 30 illegal connections, most of which belong to private subjects, such as car wash, gas stations, etc.

The unpaid debt at the Durres Aqueduct mounts up to 1.7 billion ALL, while debtors vary from families, private businesses and even government enterprises.

The legal office at the Durres Aqueduct is working for drafting criminal reports against debtors. There have been 500 reports in the past two years against families and private subjects, 100 made only in 2014.
